From the box to hanging in your mirror, here is the whole routine.

Step 01

Unplug it

Unscrew the wooden cap and pull out the small plastic plug. Set the plug aside; you will not need it again.

Step 02

Soak the cap

Screw the wooden cap back on, then flip the bottle upside down for 2 to 5 seconds so the oil soaks into the wood.

Step 03

Hang it

Turn it upright and hang it from your mirror. The scent diffuses slowly through the wooden cap as you drive.

Step 04

Refresh it

When the scent starts to fade, usually every few days, flip it again for a few seconds to re-soak the cap and bring it back.
